Duration Windows will be showcasing a mix of heritage & modern window and door ranges at this years’ FIT show on an all new,
larger purpose built stand – F15
Duration Windows stand (F15) is new & improved for the 2019 FIT show, featuring examples of our steel replacement heritage windows and doors. Our popular Royale range of windows are the slimmest aluminium frames on the market at just 33mm deep, offering improved security and thermal efficiency. Available in authentic stepped and puttyline styles these super slim windows benefit from Krypton filled units and are ideal for conservation areas. Choose between dummy and working butt hinges, modern or cockspur locking. These windows are designed to be a like-for-like replacement of traditional steel windows at a fraction of the cost. A range of lead designs and astragal bar styles allow your design to be realised then finished in your choice of single or dual RAL colour.
New for 2019 due to popular demand is the Duration Heritage door display. A popular combination of traditional steel look-a-like doors coupled with authentic side windows. Suitable for use in listed buildings, these doors retain the character of your home as close as you can get to actual steel doors at a fraction of the cost. Continuing the Heritage range, Duration are proud to be exhibiting our Royale Vertical Slider Sash windows. For use in heritage and conservation areas, or to complement Georgian and Victorian architecture, our sash windows provide more glass and less frame. Offering strength, durability and slim lines; our aluminium sash windows are a premium product and built to last.
Our PAS 24 Emperor Concealed Hinge Bifold will be on show with its cleverly patented hidden hinges. Security tested to PAS 24, this door system (only available from Duration) has undergone rigorous trials and offers the consumer peace of mind. Hinges are fully concealed within the door leaf resulting in a contemporary, clean and aesthetically pleasing bifold door. The Emperor Bifold doors give over a 90% opening and have a uniquely designed flush-line handle, which allows for a very tight panel stack when the doors are open.
Flush Casement Windows complimenting our patio sliders and bifolds will be on display. This stunning groundbreaking window is based on our popular slimline window system, and again is only available through Duration. With 24mm internally beaded sealed units and high security shootbolt locking, these windows can be fitted into new or existing timber frames or direct to brick.
Secondary Glazing, is how we started way back in 1985. A customer favourite, will be featuring in several configurations on our new stand. Fitting our Secondary Glazing is simple can save around 10% on heating bills. It is an ideal solution for those unable to replace existing windows with double glazing. It’s also perfect for use in listed buildings and conservation area as it is considered a reversible change. Fixed, sliding, hinged, lift out or combination units; our Secondary systems can be priced and purchased online, with a trade discount.
Show favourites, flush glass aluminium roof and Elegance roof light will be on the new stand. Always pulling a crowd, our flush glass roof has to be seen.
