Hallmark Now – the new website & door designer

To supports its expanding product range and customer base, Hallmark Group Products is investing in its customer support services

These are exciting times at Hallmark Panels, as the company embarks on the next stage of its growth strategy. Already positioned as one of the UK’s leading suppliers of composite doors, aluminium and PVC-U door panels, the company has witnessed considerable growth for its wide range of products. This growth has enabled the company to invest in a number of key areas that will further enhance its offering to an expanding customer base. By improving manufacturing processes and efficiencies, Hallmark has been able to develop its business model and deliver a constantly improving offering to customers. With a progressive new management team in place, the company is looking to ensure that customers are supplied with market-leading products.

A key element of this investment process has been the development of a new customer friendly website and the Hallmark Now door designer. As Hallmark’s Marketing Manager Rob Gray told Windows Active: “As an organisation we are constantly striving to improve our service and offering. Since the appointment of our Managing Director Lorraine Snell in 2016, our strategy for growth has been accelerated. The consequence of this growth has meant we have been able to invest further in our customer service offering. Behind the scenes we have been developing our new website which will include a vastly improved online ordering, technical information and homeowner friendly formatting. Features include the ability to add multiple product variations, instant pricing, 24/7 ordering, company overbranding and PVC-U panel ordering.”

Hallmark prides itself on being a company that satisfies the needs of all its customers, but in one area in particular, experience has shown that not all customers will be comfortable ordering products and obtaining quotes online. Rob is keen to emphasise the customer-focused nature of the business and says: “We offer a wide range of products to a wide spectrum of customers. While the majority of our customers order products online, we are very aware that it is important to also offer more traditional ways to order. For this reason, we continue to invest in a dedicated customer service team who are on hand to deal with telephone, email and faxed orders. As a business you have to cover all customer’s needs, and the same can be said regarding our products. We continue to invest heavily in new product development and innovation to provide the widest range of fire doors, composite doors, aluminium & PVC-U door panels.”

Hallmark has been witnessing considerable sales growth from existing and new customers over the last 12 months. Demand spans all the company’s products, and what has been particularly pleasing is the rise in sales of the latest additions to the product portfolio. The Elite Modern and the Elite Entrance ranges of composite doors have been especially popular with trade customers. Rob explains: “Within these ranges we have a large number of style choices. The range of 44mm single rebate Elite entrance doors has witnessed strong demand, and we are seeing a continued growth in sales for our Elite Modern contemporary range of composite doors as the market shifts towards modern-styled products. Within the composite door offering we are also able to provide a market-leading fire door solution with our FD30s. ”

A recent addition to the range has been the Architectural Aluminium door panels & Double Rebated composite doors, which offer a thermally efficient product ideally suited to the residential, light commercial and social housing markets. Again, these have been receiving a fantastic response from customers. Hallmark is excited by these product developments and believes the recently launched website and online ordering development will perfectly complement Hallmark’s offering to its customers: “We are entering a very exciting period for existing and new customers; the investments we have made will really take us to the next level in terms of service and product.
