Another Opus Composite Project For Prefix

another-opus-composite-project-for-prefixPrefix Systems have carried out another impressive installation for Opus, their luxury composite window, door and roof system, which involved the design and installation of windows and doors into two stunning garden room extensions in West Yorkshire.

Opus is a luxury brand, offering the durability of aluminium to the outside with the sheer beauty of hardwood timber to the inside, which is loved and cherished by consumers and architects alike. This latest project was carried out in a period inspired Chartwell Green colour and involved two large gable end windows, casement windows and two sets of French doors.

Additional structural strength was added to both Garden Room installations, one to the side and the other to the rear elevation, due to the project size and weight of the roof, yet have made for a stylish hardwood feature in each new room. Opus has also been designed as a system for bi-folding doors, along with lantern and conservatory roof options, thanks to the joinery expertise from their dedicated manufacturing site in Yorkshire.

Chris Baron, co-director of Prefix Systems commented: ‘There’s much talk about super premium systems and we firmly believe that Opus is the perfect example of this emerging market segment. It combines the best attributes of both aluminium and timber into a single, luxury glazing solution as our recent projects and case studies have shown.

He continues: ‘Our product range is becoming ever more diverse as installers look for a wider range of value added products, for an ever more discerning consumer. Our customers feel that we’re the perfect partner of choice for the extending living space market and we’re proactively looking to build on this repuatation with continued investment and product innovation.’
