Game changer: Emplas launches Challenger installer network

SHOT45Emplas has issued a challenge to installer networks with the launch of its new Installer Partnership, designed to support growth across its customer base through lead generation and unparalleled support.

Developed by Emplas to redraw and redefine expectations of the support offered by systems companies and fabricators to retailers, the scheme offers qualifying installers access to new levels of support – at no additional cost.

Drawing on its understanding of the retail sector through its own (and Northamptonshire-only) retail business T&K which claimed the G12-Awards Installer of the Year title, this includes dedicated lead generation and sales support.

The Emplas Installer Partnership also offers retailers exclusive sales areas, marketing support including a free website, search engine optimisation and copywriting, plus dedicated marketing collateral including their own-branded protective tape retail brochures and point of sale material.

Qualifying installers also get a free laptop or tablet preloaded with software to allow them to access Emplas’ 24/7 online and order tracking service. Training programmes and workshops are also offered as part of an industry game changing offer.

Mike Crewdson, Sales and Marketing Director, Emplas said: “The industry model is changing and we believe that that has led to a deficit in the support that is offered by systems companies to retailers. We’re stepping into that gap but going far beyond it, to bring a level of support and service to installers that will redefine expectations.

“It’s a partnership in the truest sense. We see our growth as going hand in hand with theirs. It’s a game changer because we’re not offering a ‘one size fits all’ programme but a dedicated support package that is fully catered to the needs of each customer and which will support them in building and growing their brand and their brand identity, locally.”

In addition to one of the UK’s most comprehensive product ranges, Emplas is offering Installer Partnership members access to one of the industry’s most competitively priced composite door ranges. This is being done without compromising on quality.

Crewdson continued: “Composite doors are a significant growth area and we know how important it will be to installers to access this market in generating not only door sales but as a leader to other improvements.

“We are offering a competitively priced but high quality composite door range, because we see it as a product which can support wider lead generation for our retail customers.”

Featuring 15 classic styles plus solid doors including panel, cottage and flush finishes, this new trade offer includes a range of contemporary designs. These are available in standard plus heritage colours and specialist finishes, with triple glazed units as standard, while hardware is Fab&Fix with high security cylinders and cylinder guards, again as standard.

Crewdson concluded: “The Emplas composite door offer has been designed to give members of the Installer Partnership a real and tangible advantage. We are offering this without any compromise on quality. Our product quality and our service is what we and by default our customers have built our reputations on – that’s not going to change.

“What we are changing, or we hope to change, are expectations of the sales and marketing support given to installers. We know what works and we’re committed to deliver against our promises – we’re ready to offer installers more.”

A poll last year revealed that Emplas’ product quality was rated good or excellent by 98.7 per cent of its customers compared to an industry average of 79.2 per cent. It also scored an enviable 99.3 per cent figure for complete and on time deliveries compared to an 84.6 per cent industry average.
