Business Micros’ Business Development Manager Nick Bailey is running 5K a day for the whole of May to raise money for the Hope House Children’s Hospices.
The hospices, which are supported by the industry’s own GM Fundraising charity, are losing out because so many of their fundraising events have been cancelled or postponed due to the Coronavirus lockdown, so Nick is doing his bit to try to help.
He says: “I’m using my daily exercise to do something positive and hopefully keep my fitness levels up doing lockdown.”
Nick has set himself a target of raising £500, but is hoping that many of those who would have supported the GM Fundraising’s postponed Peak, Paddle, Pedal event and 25th anniversary ball will help him raise even more.
