Alastair Wheeler, Key Account Manager, Yale Door and Window Solutions

Yale Door and Window Solutions has strengthened its team by appointing Alastair Wheeler as a Key Account Manager.

In his new role at Yale, Alastair will be developing relationships with system houses, key fabricators and national key accounts, focusing on the development of aluminium in a number of areas.

During his 35 years in the industry, Alastair worked for Siegenia Group, before going on to work for Caldwell Hardware in a variety of senior managerial roles. Working in external sales, key account management, technical and collaborating closely with internal engineering teams, Alastair is well used to spinning multiple plates.

One of Alastair’s most successful achievements stemmed from his natural interest in the field. After receiving an enquiry about acoustic air ventilation units, Alastair realised that these could be what was missing from sound reduction schemes across the country. Taking the product under his wing, Alastair secured specification for local residential buildings located near a variety of major UK airports.

Alastair comments: “I’m really excited to be joining the team at Yale, taking on my new role as Key Account Manager. This position will allow me to get back to what I enjoy the most – being out in the field and speaking directly to customers on a day to day basis.

“Yale is known for its high standards, both for quality and certification – my goal is to exceed these expectations and deliver the best possible service I can for my customers.”

Paul Atkinson, Sales and Commercial Director at Yale Door and Window Solutions adds: “We are delighted to have Alastair join our team here at Yale. His extensive knowledge of the hardware industry will be a valuable asset to the business moving forward.”
