Andrew Charlesworth to drive global growth of the WarmCore system

Andrew Charlesworth, the previous technical director for Kömmerling in the UK, has been promoted to the new role of Director Global Category Management – WarmCore. This move will see a renewed focus on this revolutionary aluminium/PVC hybrid system that includes casement, flush and tilt and turn windows, along with feature-rich patio and bi-folding doors.

WarmCore is a product platform with the future in mind and by that definition it’s been designed to accommodate triple glazing right from the outset. Windows can achieve 1.3 (W/m²K) double glazed and down to 0.80 (W/m²K) triple glazed as standard with 44mm units. Residential, double, patio and bi-folding doors also provide impressive thermal insulating properties, 1.4 (W/m²K) double glazed and down to 1.0 (W/m²K) triple glazed, again as standard with 44mm units.

As trade partners and consumers will testify, WarmCore is a premium product with the looks and finish to match, thanks to premium bespoke hardware and careful manufacturing processes, including foil lamination options. There’s already been considerable interest from Australia, Italy, Spain and even Chile and the system platform will be showcased at Fensterbau in March 2024 through five different product displays. Supporting this renewed focus is a new range of literature for WarmCore windows, patio and bi-folding doors with POS materials to follow imminently. A new website is being built for WarmCore and there will be a dedicated social media platform launched at Fensterbau too. From a UK perspective, there will also be an integrated advertising and direct marketing campaign commencing from March onwards.

Andrew Charlesworth commented: “This is a hugely exciting and important role for Kömmerling and profine. While I will have an international perspective for WarmCore, I do believe that 2024 will be pivotal for this product platform in the UK as we look to ignite considerable interest from existing Kömmerling customers and also those from the wider aluminium sector.”
