About Avantek:

Formed in Germany in 1970, Wegoma Machinery has a worldwide reputation for quality and service. Wegoma GB was formed to distribute the machinery range across the UK and Ireland, and became part of the Flamstead Holdings Group of companies in 2014, changing its name to Wegoma Machinery Sales.

The group was acquired by Quanex Building Products Corporation in 2015 – and with a large corporation’s resources behind it, Avantek is able to provide a different approach to windows machinery by having machines on a much reduced lead time or even available from stock.

The name was changed to Avantek Machinery Ltd in February 2016…

In order to reflect the growth and expansion of the company, as well as offering a broader range of machinery including Wegoma, Digistop, Supercut and Urban machines. The name was selected as it’s made up of the Italian word ‘avanti’, meaning ‘to move forward’, combined with the cutting edge technology used in our machinery ranges.

Supplying a full and comprehensive product range, from hand tools up to and including fully CNC controlled production lines, the team’s comprehensive industry experience has been gained over decades to address the various challenges of window manufacture.
