Commenting on the landmark anniversary for the organisation, MD John Crittenden said: “We have remained true to our objective of offering service that is second to none with a portfolio of leading brand hardware and some own brand products to address the price-driven sector of the market. Our growth is testimony to the commitment of our workforce – our staff are passionate about service and it is their drive, skills and ability that has enabled us to realise our vision.
“To single out just a few of our key achievements since 2010 is hard as our brand developments have been significant however, I would like to mention our ongoing partnerships with leading manufacturers such as Fuhr and new relationships including Ingenious. A number of our staff have been justifiably recognised with promotions to management positions and we have recruited some of the industry’s movers and shakers including Norman Berrill and latterly, Paul Simpson as Head of Sales.”
Management of the merger included incorporating Carl F direct into the organisation. Established in 2005, this is a direct mail and e-commerce business supplying trade tools to the window and door industry: the inclusion of Carl F direct within the company’s offer has supported its position becoming a one-stop shop for the sector. Carl F Groupco has a regional field sales force and two distribution centres in Peterborough and Cumbernauld, Scotland.
