Toughened glass specialist TuffX is delighted to report a recent surge in orders for its flat and walk-on rooflight products, revealing that lockdown has had no negative impact on customer demand for its contemporary high-end products.
Since Tuffx’s launch of its rooflights range – now branded Infinity – at the end of 2018, there has been a steady and on-going increase in demand for both its flat and walk-on versions. This upward trend has continued throughout 2020 despite the challenges and disruptions the year has brought.
TuffX’s Infinity rooflights are designed to increase the flow of natural light into the home and offer an effective modern alternative to roof lanterns when forming part of an orangery or full rear extension, or for basement conversions and roof terraces. The range has proved increasingly popular with homeowners as well as builders and installers, thanks to its sleek, contemporary yet low-maintenance aluminium finish, along with a hassle-free ‘drop and bolt’ installation that requires no additional assembly on site.
“As people are spending more time in their homes they’re approaching builders and window installers with a view to making discerning home improvements with money they’ve saved from unfortunately cancelled holidays and activities,” said TuffX’s Managing Director Graham Price.
“We’re seeing increased interest and enquiries for our rooflights, which are available in a range of glass finishes and glazed into a powder-coated aluminium frame as a complete unit. With our rooflights installers can add a simple, easy-to-fit yet high-value contemporary product to their portfolio of customer offerings, which we can deliver directly to site throughout the UK.
“We’re delighted that after 25 years at the top of the trade we continue to be a strong reliable supplier offering products our customers want even under the challenging current economic circumstances.”
