DoubleGlazingCompanies.com announces award winners

The winners of the first annual DoubleGlazingCompanies.com Double Glazing Awards have recently been announced. The winners have been selected from all paid subscribers on DoubleGlazingCompanies.com, based on their review performance. We hope that the Double Glazing Awards will provide the winners with increased business and recognition from customers in 2015. At DoubleGlazingCompanies.com, we believe that it is important to offer an industry specific platform for both companies and consumers to make the best deal on window installations.

What ties the three winners together is that they all faced stiff competition in 2014 and have received excellent customer feedback from verified customers. Unlike other review sites,, at DoubleGlazingCompanies.com, we manually review customer reviews left on the site and have caught out several companies trying to misuse the review system. We can therefore vouch for the credibility and quality of the three winning companies, as well as the many other companies listed on our site.

Without further ado, we will now go on to present the winners.

Highest Customer Satisfaction:  Traditional Windows

The award for highest customer satisfaction goes to Jimmy Deane, Debbie and all at Traditional Windows.

Traditional Windows have gone above and beyond and their customers have ranked them with the highest average, virtually 100%, because of their 39 reviewers just one scored them at 4.5, each of the others scored them 5/5. Based in Hornchurch, Traditional Windows have more than 30 years of experience in the double glazing industry looking after East London and Essex.

The company have worked on window installations on a wide range of properties, including listed buildings, new build homes and conservatories. Derwent is a family owned business by Rob Walters, with Alister running much of the day to day dealings for the East Midlands-based company founded in 1994.

With over 50 reviews in 2014, every one of them had ratings of 4.5 or 5, (out of 5) they have had some of the most praiseworthy reviews, and customer feedback we have ever encountered, excellent work guys, very well deserved.

Best Window CompanyBarnet Window Company

Barnet Window Company have been in the glazing industry since 1987. The family run business has developed a strong reputation for quality glazing and excellent customer service.

Barnet Window Company have excelled in their transparency and have more reviews on DoubleGlazingCompanies.com than any other company listed on the site. What’s more they are recommended by 108 or the 109 reviewers, who have taken the time to leave a review on the site!

Being sceptical about review sites, John Rose along with his son Tommy and son in law Paul, now actively promote review websites of all kinds, especially DGC, so they find it incredibly powerful. Even the one slightly negative review help their sales because people trust the independent nature of DGC and that all of their comments are posted.

An excellent result for a hard working local family firm, the award looks great in their new showroom. Well done to all concerned a great result.
