Epwin launches the Frontier range of composite door leaves

October 2017 saw the launch of Frontier, Epwin Window Systems’ new range of composite door leaves. Gerald Allen, Epwin Window Systems’ Marketing Manager, comments: “The composite door market is growing and Frontier will help our customers make the most of the opportunities available.” As you would expect from an Epwin product, the Frontier composite door range delivers excellence at every level. The three ranges, classical, contemporary and cottage, and 25 different designs mean there is a style to suit every house style while a wide range of glazing options help consumers to personalise their choice even further.

A Frontier door has a beautiful and unique thermoplastic woodgrain finish to replicate timber and give a more realistic effect. The range is available in a capsule collection of 10 popular colours, all with superior scratch and abrasion resistance, helping to keeping doors in great condition for years to come. Coolskin technology minimises the amount of solar heat absorption in order to reduce the surface temperature fluctuation throughout the day. In addition to their excellent weather stability the facings are also highly durable with high impact performance during extremes of temperature. Frontier doors are available in slabbed or pre-prepped options so Epwin Window Systems’ customers can choose which works best for their business. They are suitable for standard or low-threshold doors, making them suitable for all project types. Prepped doors are supplied fully edge banded for a sleek finish. Suitable locks and door furniture can be supplied through our Safeware hardware division too.

Available in 44mm and 48mm options, Frontier solid timber core composite door leaves are manufactured in the UK and are designed to fit perfectly into Epwin Windows’ profile systems to enable its customers to offer a complete composite door solution. Frontier leaves are compatible with Profile 22 (universal composite door outer frame) CD70, Profile 22 Optima chamfered and sculptured systems plus Spectus Elite 70 bevelled and ovolo systems. The range also comes with all the support that is needed including full technical details and marketing collateral to enable Epwin Window Systems’ customers to capitalise on homeowners’ interest in composite doors. Gerald concludes: “Our aim is to be a one-stop shop for our customers and the new Frontier range of composite doors reflects this aim in action.” For more info call: 0808 178 3370 or email: info@epwin.co.uk.
