Epwin Window Systems begins phased reopening from the 4th of May

Epwin Window Systems has announced a phased and controlled reopening of their Telford operation from Monday 4^th May, 2020. The phased reopening will commence with a small team of Customer Service personnel who will be available to discuss customers’ order requirements from 4^th May.  During that week, the production plant will fire up with a view to reopening the manufacturing facilities from Monday 11^th May, 2020.

All safety protocols have been meticulously implemented throughout the business to avoid the spread of Covid-19. Clare O’Hara, Managing Director of Epwin Window Systems, said: “The safety and welfare of our employees, customers and suppliers remains paramount and we have conducted extensive risk assessments throughout the business to allow this safe and phased return to work.”

The initial reopening will operate with a limited workforce in place to support the immediate needs of the business.   This will be closely monitored on a week-by-week basis and scaled up as and when business levels dictate.  

There is little doubt that the Covid-19 pandemic has affected lives and businesses in an unprecedented way.   All companies will have to adapt to different ways of doing business in the ‘new normal’ that allows for social distancing of some degree.   With that in mind, the Epwin Window Systems’ marketing team have produced a series of ‘safe-working posters’ which are available for customers to download and use around their premises.  The posters are available by emailing Gerald Allen, Epwin Window Systems’ Marketing Manager, at gallen@epwin.co.uk
