Exlabesa’s Xlafold new French door system achieves PAS24 certification

Exlabesa announces that its Xlafold aluminium bi-folding door system has achieved PAS24 certification for its new French door opening configuration.

This new opening design, launched at the latest FIT Show, has generated great interest in the market in recent months, becoming one of the most recognised in its category. Now this product sets a new benchmark by achieving the highest safety standard in the UK glazing industry.

This bi-folding system has been designed to provide highly functional, robust, and durable door solutions, perfect for enhancing airflow and natural light within the home, while presenting a sleek and sophisticated look.

These doors do not compromise on durability and security and provide a robust solution both in their large format folding version and in the French door configuration, that meets the most demanding building standards, now including PAS24.

The Xlafold system has been designed to optimise both style and performance, made in Britain at Exlabesa’s Doncaster factory. To trade and aluminium fabricators, it offers a wide range of customisation configurations and can be easily used for different design applications, from commercial to residential. This compatibility, combined with their cost-effectiveness and high-performance metrics, makes Xlafold an unbeatable choice in the market.

The Xlafold is both cost-effective and fabricator-friendly, with a delivery time of up to 6 days. This system can be quickly and easily fabricated to meet tight deadlines. The three main color options – grey, black, and white – are available within this timeframe due to the company’s robust stock capacity at its Doncaster facility.
