Fabricator Tradeglaze adds new offices as company continues to expand

Lincolnshire manufacturer of quality windows, doors, conservatories, orangeries and curtain walling Tradeglaze (Lincoln) has added new offices to its headquarters at 16 Bishops Road, Lincoln, as the company continues its expansion program. With both the construction and the home improvement markets experiencing the strongest demand on record, the company has been investing in new talent, equipment and facilities. Several new employees have joined the team over the recent months and it was time to make a significant investment in the premises and create modern, brighter and more comfortable working spaces for everyone.

The fabricator, well-known for its commitment to collaborating with local businesses, has been working with Lincoln-based commercial interior design and fit out specialist APSS to roll out the office expansion project. Tradeglaze maximised the space using a mezzanine floor, increasing the capacity with two new offices which include state-of-the art communication technologies. A new meeting room with an AV system has also been added, together with new areas to support the welfare of Tradeglaze employees such as a new kitchenette and additional rest areas.

Jeremy Wetherall, Managing Director at Tradeglaze, said: “Our team has already been growing consistently over the years. With the increased demand for our products in the recent months we have made the decision to accelerate our growth plans and have made a six-figure investment across all our areas from new talent to new machinery, new land for additional storage and parking, new fleet vehicles, and now new office spaces. This is a very busy but tremendously exciting time for us.”

“The industry’s boom in demand has come with many challenges. Significant price increases and surcharges combined with shortages of materials are causing considerable disruption to all fabricators. Lead times and product availability are without a doubt under pressure. However, we have built excellent relationships with our key suppliers over the years and are in a fortunate, strong position.”

“Tradeglaze has always been synonymous with outstanding customer service. We pride ourselves on our five-star reputation and our ability to support our customers, particularly during very challenging times that we are experiencing right now. We are committed to investing in the company so we have the capacity to respond to the market demand and can continue delivering the high standards of service for our customers that our company is renowned for.”
