Gareth Busson has joined GAP in the newly created role of Commercial Manager. Gareth is a familiar face within the industry having held numerous keys roles at several leading brands including Winkhaus, Assa Abloy, and most recently Solidor.
Joining at a defining moment in the future of GAP and Rockdoor, Gareth will help implement ambitious growth plans for the business into 2021 and beyond.
Gareth Busson commented on the appointment, “I felt the opportunity to join GAP and Rockdoor was one I couldn’t turn down. It’s clear for all to see that they have invested heavily in recent years to future proof Rockdoor and give it a firm platform in which to grow again, so the timing was 100% right. I look forward to working with the team here at GAP, to firmly establish Rockdoor as the leading door brand in the UK, one that customers can truly rely upon”.
GAP’s Joint Founder Simon Bird added, “We’ve worked hard in recent years to improve Rockdoors performance. With the addition of Aluminium reinforcing – and of course the recent switch back to Rehau. As a result, we feel that the timing is perfect to build upon this momentum and make Rockdoor a truly national brand. With Gareth’s knowledge, passion and leadership skills, we are confident of a successful future for both GAP and Rockdoor”.
