Hepworth Framework unveils its new manufacturing facility at Open Day

Fabricator Hepworth Framework welcomed customers, suppliers, prospects and the Mayor of Calderdale, Councillor Angie Gallagher, to its expanded manufacturing facility in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, during its recent Open Day.  The open house was a celebration of Hepworth’s recent £1 million+ investment in its purpose-built aluminium manufacturing plant which has resulted in a bigger workforce, increased output, an expansion to their window and door system offering and a new showroom. Councillor Angie Gallagher commented on the importance of Hepworth as a significant local employer and supplier to the North West region, following a tour of the facility. Representatives of local foodbank, Brighouse Central Foodbank, were also there to receive a cheque and a box of food supplies in support of the work they do for the local community. As MD Richard Steckles comments: “Hepworth has a loyal customer base in the North and we want to help to those who are struggling locally during the cost of living crisis.”

When talking about the business, Richard says, “The foundation of Hepworth’s business is in the manufacture and supply of quality aluminium doors and windows. We have been a customer of Senior Architectural Systems for 30 years and recently added Cortizo to our product range. With aluminium being a harder medium to work with than PVC-U, our team is highly skilled, and our Open Day gave visitors an opportunity to see this for themselves through personal tours of the factory.”

Hepworth has made its name by being an expert in the field of manufacturing aluminium doors and windows. As a result, their customer base also includes architects and specifiers who are looking for that something special that they know Hepworth can reliably provide, whether for the domestic or commercial market.

“Hepworth prides itself on our consultative relationship with customers. We’re here to help and no job is too complicated,” Richard comments. The business of selling aluminium bi-fold and patio doors and windows to trade partners, installers and builders is increasing due to the recent trend for home office space and open plan living spaces, and the benefits that aluminium brings in terms of light, bright rooms.

Richard adds: “We want to be the supply partner that people working in aluminium turns to. We have the knowledge, the skills, the team and the capacity, and our business is in building relationships that are mutually beneficial. We’ve been here for years, and we plan to be here for years to come. Our plans are not over yet, though, and a trade counter is scheduled to open later in the year due to customer demand.”
