Innovative home extension offer from Guardian Building Systems

Guardian Building Systems has launched Guardian Home Extension — a revolutionary offsite solution for domestic extensions. In addition to providing the flexibility and thermal performance needed for modern projects, its simple construction allows it to be built up to five times faster than traditional approaches.

The system combines the Guardian Warm Wall, fabricated from Kingspan TEK structural insulated panels (SIPs), with the popular Guardian Warm Roof system. This creates a highly insulated structure which can achieve U-values of 0.18 W/m2k with a much slimmer construction than traditional cavity walls. In addition to being faster and simpler to install, this can help to increase the useable floor space within a typical 5m x 4m extension by up to 20%. All the elements are manufactured offsite to each project’s bespoke requirements, ensuring the highest quality and limiting the need for onsite adjustments and waste. The system is available in several configurations, with a range of roof types, shapes and external finishes available, from rendered walls to traditional brick and slate constructions. To support you in guiding and inspiring your customers, Guardian has developed five template Guardian Home Extension designs for common uses: Social+, Creative+, Play+, Rest+, and Utility+.By becoming part of the Guardian Certified Installer network, installers can gain access to dedicated training, tools, technical support and active leads – helping to grow your business offering, whilst supporting efficient installations of the Guardian Home Extension.
