Introducing Werbar: Advanced PVC-U reinforcement by Window Widgets

Window Widgets are proud to highlight Werbar, its dedicated range of RCM reinforcement sections designed specifically for PVC-U window and door systems.

Werbar has quickly become a go-to solution for many in the industry, offering numerous benefits and cost-effective advantages.

Werbar is compatible with the majority of PVC-U window and door systems and is engineered to create additional profile chambers, enhance screw retention, and streamline the fabrication process by allowing the use of PVC screws. These features make it an optimal choice for fabricators.

As a critical component in energy efficiency, Werbar helps reduce U-values in windows and doors. This capability is anticipated to align well with the forthcoming building regulations expected to be announced later this year, aiding fabricators in meeting new government standards.

Adrian Clare, Technical Sales Executive at Window Widgets, commented: “When Werbar was introduced in 2009, it was designed to be the most cost-effective tool for developing energy-rated windows, with potential increases of up to nine points over steel.

“Werbar is already widely used by many of the largest fabricators in the industry and is particularly suited for the current range of 70mm systems. Its generous wall thicknesses provide superior screw retention compared to other reinforcement options. Additionally, Werbar assists in achieving better Window Energy Ratings (WER) and U-values due to its thermal advantages over steel or aluminium.”

Werbar stands out as a reliable and economical reinforcement product, tailored to meet the high standards of PVC-U window and door fabrication, while enhancing energy efficiency and structural integrity.
