John Fredericks is a privately owned window manufacturer based in Yorkshire, ideally located to service the UK Trade window and door market. Established in 1970, John Fredericks Plastics have now amassed 53 years of trading with a strong record of innovation and a loyal customer base.
John Fredericks worked with its systems company Halo, back in 1995, to develop what was then the first fully sculptured PVC-U window on the market. The company employed around 70 staff when it started, but now employs 170 staff, servicing over 220 installers throughout the UK.
John Fredericks has been recognised with success in the prestigious annual Business for Calderdale Awards, being named SME of the Year at a glittering award ceremony. The criteria for the category was to “show outstanding initiative, boldness and imagination in the enterprise, as well as sound management practices” and “demonstrate a degree of commercial success that is exceptional for the size of the business.”
