Kömmerling gets clever with a Genius fabrication start-up

Kömmerling have partnered up with Genius Systems, an ambitious new window and door manufacturing start-up who have already invested over £1 million in capital equipment. No strangers to large-scale window and door fabrication, Peter Dyson and David Eagle are heading up this new business venture with the aim of reaching 2,500 frames per week in just a matter of years. Genius chose Kömmerling as their preferred profile partner, due to the inherent quality in the window and door systems, outstanding product engineering and from the high profile and award-winning marketing campaign that’s really catapulted the German brand into the limelight.

Genius are already manufacturing the chamfered and ovolo Kömmerling 70 systems, along with the feature packed PremiLine patio door. Peter Dyson, co-director commented: ‘We’re thrilled to have the backing of a premium brand and are looking to build this business on exceptional product quality and service. We spent considerable time assessing the virtues of several systems companies, with Kömmerling proving to be the standout brand and this decision has already been vindicated with fantastic feedback from our customers. It was important for us to find the right partner, with a highly visible brand, something that Kömmerling has really built on this year and it will be fundamental for us as we look to accelerate growth.”

Gareth Jones, Managing Director of Profine UK and the Kömmerling brand added: ‘We’re delighted to have brought Genius on board on the back of our strong marketing campaign and unrivalled product range. David and Peter have an exceptional track record of building large-scale window and door manufacturing facilities and we look forward to supporting them on their quest to be a major player for PVC-U frames over the next few years.’
