Landmark for CNC Recycling as over 500,000 PVC-U frames recycled in 2020

CNC Recycling a nationwide PVC-U window recycling company based in the North East of England are pleased to announce a landmark year as they have recycled in excess of 500,000 old PVC-U windows during 2020 to achieve continued business growth, resulting in the recycling and processing of a record number of old windows every week.

Despite huge setbacks during the first lockdown due to Covid-19, CNC Recycling have successfully adapted to change through operational efficiencies, introducing new initiatives by not only acquiring new customers and new suppliers there has also been further investment into new vehicles, plant and machinery which has created new jobs.

Managing Director Melanie Reid said: “2020 has been the most challenging of years but thanks to the hard work of our incredibly committed team and the support of our customers, the business has come through this pandemic stronger than ever. We have continued to be a reliable company giving a consistent service. We are really excited for 2021”

The company are a PVC-U Recycling specialist committed to offering a sustainable alternative to landfill for old windows for the fenestration industry. They have successfully collected thousands of tonnes across the UK every year saving fabricators and installers the cost of having to dispose as waste.

This enables recycled materials to be fed back into the supply chain as a valuable secondary raw material to produce new, recycled windows and doors. PVC-U due to it’s thermoplastic nature can be recycled several times before any loss of performance.

The company is continuing to work on building its brand with an active and strategic approach to marketing. The new granulation line is set to be at full capacity during the first half of 2021 due to a swathe of new customers and plans are also in place to add to the several PVC-U Recycling centres around the UK. CNC Recycling are heavily committed to recycling every piece of PVC-U waste created as they look to continue to be a trusted and reliable recycling partner to the fenestration industry
