Liniar enters the Scottish market with the Window Supply Company

Industry-leading systems company Liniar’s PVC-U products are found as far as New Zealand, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia as well as across European countries, such as Germany, Sweden, France and the Netherlands. Now, with the signing of the Window Supply Company in Livingston, you can count Scotland among those destinations. One of Liniar’s five-year strategic objectives, entering the Scottish market, has been achieved. After visiting Liniar’s world-class facilities and meeting the team, the Window Supply Company has signed with Liniar and had a robust first few months producing Liniar’s 70mm system and as the first mass fabricator of the company’s Reversible Window.

The partnership began with a need for window fabrication machinery – and Liniar’s sister company Avantek Machinery. The Directors of the Window Supply Company, Ron Hepburn, Martin Linden and Duncan Murray had heard of the Liniar system previously, but after the superb customer service and support they received from Avantek, they knew they’d receive the same from Liniar. In a mere 11 weeks, the Window Supply Company went from its first meeting with Avantek to starting full production.

At the 31st of March Open Day the feedback received from the team at the Window Supply Company as well as the fabricator’s installers was excellent. Liniar’s Group Managing Director Martin Thurley had this to say: “Everyone that we spoke to at the Open Day had nothing but good things to say about the Liniar system. The team here at the Window Supply Company and their installers say it’s the best system they’ve ever seen or worked with!”

If the company’s first week’s results have anything to show, it’s that the Window Supply Company is starting as they mean to carry on – with a capacity of 850 windows per week they’re well on their way to smashing their goals. With Ron and Duncan’s track record for success in the industry, it will be exciting to watch how their newest venture develops – and Liniar is proud to be in partnership with them.
