Apeer, maker of the radical seamless Lumi window and door system, is aiming to build on its fabricator base as well as appeal to consumers at Grand Designs Live in Birmingham, on 8th-11th October.

Lumi proved to be a show-stopper when it was unveiled at the London Grand Designs Live in May. Now Marketing Manager Linda Tomb says the company is inviting more fabricators to see the system for themselves and become a part of its success.

“The response from consumers was overwhelming,” she said, “Everyone wanted to know more about it and where they could get it. That showed us very clearly the kind of demand we can expect and now we are looking to grow our fabricator base to match that demand.

“This is of course predominantly a consumer show – and we expect every bit as much interest from homeowners as the London event – but there is also a strong trade element among visitors and, until the FIT Show next year, we believe this will be the best opportunity to introduce Lumi to them.”

Lumi, with its structurally bonded construction and radically seamless appearance, was launched as a complete window and door system including bi-folds and all will be on show at Birmingham.

Linda Tomb said: “The complete Lumi system means anyone can have any combination of windows, doors and bi-folds that are an exact match, not just a close approximation as in many other cases.

“This is just one more reason why fabricators should come along to the Grand Designs Live, take a very close look at Lumi and think seriously about becoming a part of its success.”
