Management changes form part of Winmac’s growth strategy

2020 has been an important year for Winmac Machinery as it cements its position as a market-leading supplier of PVC-U and aluminium machinery. The company is celebrating its 20th anniversary in a year that has seen the role of automation growing in importance for large numbers of fabricators. As the company heads into the next stage of its growth strategy, it has announced a restructuring of its senior management. Founder David Stone has exited the business with his planned retirement handing down his role as Managing Director to former Sales Director Kevin Noray and UK Sales Manager Rob Hopper. David has been instrumental in the development of Winmac over the last 20 years. Kevin and Rob have been responsible for driving the company forward and are looking to capitalise on the company’s market-leading position for supplying quality machinery with unrivalled service delivery.

Kevin told Windows Active: “Winmac has been a very progressive company and over the years myself and Rob have worked closely with David to create the Winmac of today. We now offer a premium package of machinery for both the PVC-U and aluminium sectors. 2020 has been a significant year for Winmac. Not only have we celebrated our 20th anniversary our expansive range of machines have evolved to match the evolution of the marketplace. Myself and Rob will be building on this success to work closely with customers to ensure their manufacturing process delivers high quality products efficiently.”

Working with supply partners, Winmac has perfected its offering to customers by supplying ‘great machines, great service and great brands’. Rob is focused on building on this relationship with supply partners and customers: “Working with leading brands such as Rotox, Schirmer and Pertici we offer an unrivalled product portfolio of manufacturing machinery. By offering premium machinery we have been able to work with large numbers of fabricators who are dedicated to producing high quality windows and doors in the most efficient way possible.”

The market for machinery is very buoyant at the moment as fabricators of all sizes are looking to increase their investments in factory automation. Winmac is able to provide a full range of PVC-U manufacturing machines and is witnessing a surge in orders and enquiries for the latest Schirmer Alu-Baz aluminium cutting and machining centres.
