New dates in October announced for VinylPlus Sustainability Forum 2020

Due to the growing concerns around the coronavirus (COVID19) and worldwide travel restrictions, VinylPlus® has made a strategic decision to change the dates of the 2020 edition of the VinylPlus Sustainability Forum: #CIRCULARVINYL.

The VSF2020 will be held on October 14th and 15th at the same venue and city – Hilton Florence Metropole Hotel in Florence, Italy.

Brigitte Dero, Managing Director, VinylPlus, says: “We are sure you will acknowledge that this has not been an easy decision, but due to the widespread nature of the virus, a necessary one.

“We are fully committed to taking appropriate precautions to provide a healthy environment for our attendees. We hope this change of date will not affect your decision to participate in the event in October and we are available to answer any questions you may have.”

Marking two decades of leading on PVC sustainable development and innovation, the Forum was originally scheduled for May 6th and 7th with a focus on the key sustainability challenges and future transformation for the vinyl industry, both in Europe and globally.

VinylPlus assured that those who have already paid their registration fee and are not able to attend will receive full reimbursement. Online registration for the event in October will open as soon as possible.

Brigitte Dero adds: “We apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause and we thank you for your understanding. We look forward to presenting our exciting programme in Florence this October.”

VinylPlus® is the Voluntary Commitment of the European PVC industry. The programme establishes a long-term framework for the sustainable development of the PVC industry by tackling a number of critical challenges in the EU-27, UK, Norway and Switzerland.
