About Quickslide:

When double glazing first took the UK by storm in the 1970’s you could see a plethora of lovely period properties having their often 200-300-year-old timber windows replaced with white plastic casements, obviously getting the benefit of better insulation and low maintenance but often at the expense of the beautiful period look.

Identifying a need to right this wrong, Quickslide was established and began offering a product to introduce the period look but with modern benefits of PVCu. The first sliding sash windows were a little primitive, but the focus of the company has been constant innovation and during the last 15 years we’ve made huge progress in system and product evolution. During these times we have also grown our people and processes to the 150+ skilled tradesmen and women we employ today and have dramatically expanded our factories to include casement windows and aluminium windows and doors with glass, foiling and painting processes.

To encourage enterprise and keep our business at the forefront of the industry Quickslide formed an academy and has proudly been recognised for our initiatives by winning many regional and national awards including Window of the Year, Fabricator of the Year, Business of the Year and Training Initiative of the year. This enterprise is only pushing forward with constant investment in pioneering processes to ensure we provide exceptional levels of service with an absolute focus on value for money.
