RegaLead hosts another of its renowned open days

RegaLead recently hosted another of its renowned Open Days, giving the multitude of attendees the chance to see new products, receive on-site training, and take advantage of special offers, as well as making the most of networking opportunities and enjoying some fantastic food. Hosted at the Manchester-based ColorSpray Network Trade Counter and Training Centre, visitors were given the opportunity to explore the in-house painting set up, consisting of a spray booth and Schubox drying oven, as well as discussing the many advantages that in-house spraying offers. “When it comes to finishing,” said Patrick McGrory, Area Sales Manager and Coating Specialist at ColorSpray, RegaLead’s coatings division, “we want to ensure our customers have the correct booth, the proper set up to be able to handle the required volume of products, and a safe and efficient environment to work in. It was great to talk to so many people on the day and provide expert advice on the overall operation.”

Serving as the ideal showcase of RegaLead’s impressive Urban range of glazing products, the main talking point of the day proved to be the premium PVC Urban Engineered Door Components on view in the RegaLead showroom.

“Fabricators are now able to make a PVC door which looks very much like timber,” explains Guy Hubble, Joint MD at RegaLead. “Building a door sash with traditional transoms and mullions, combined with glazed and panelled areas, with less restrictions than composites and the benefit of double rebates. We have taken a look at this niche emerging market and built a solution that will take it to the next level. We’ve got a panel solution to cater for all the fantastic new foils available and we’ve expanded our range to include some very interesting bolection moulds, raised and fielded panels, and plant on mouldings. All available in a wide range of foiled finishes. There was a fantastic reaction to the doors at our Open Day and we firmly believe that the market for engineered doors will start to grow.”

Visitors also took advantage of the chance to talk to the many supply partners in attendance at the event. As well as the Brisant Ultion showroom van and Sata spray equipment demonstration van, Coastal had their hardware range on display, there was a virtual reality experience from Elcometer, and Schuberts were there to discuss their finishing solutions. Others included Abode Academy, Aluplast, Kubu Smart Security, and WindowCAD.
