Schüco launches high quality door system for efficient fabrication

The new Schüco AD UP (Aluminium Door Universal Platform) is a premium door system for both residential and commercial applications, designed with simple and efficient fabrication in mind. Available in two profile widths: AD UP 75 (75mm) and AD UP 90 (90mm), fabrication of the five-chamber symmetrical profile is simplified as the door system is based on a large number of common components, hinges and locks.

The profile allows the door fittings and the outer frame attachment to be screwed on centrally and concealed without the need to distinguish between left-handed and right-handed doors. It also incorporates a dedicated cable channel to ensure easy integration of Schüco Smart Home intelligent access control systems. The AD UP 75 profile is suitable for door heights up to 3000mm, with a maximum leaf width of 1400mm, while the wider AD UP 90 profile can accommodate additional insulation for impressive thermal performance.

In addition, the AD UP 75 is exceptionally watertight making it ideal for use in exposed locations. It achieves class E750 under BS EN 12208, meaning it can withstand wind pressures of up to 750Pa, ensuring reliable watertightness even in a violent storm. The universal platform enables door systems to be created for a wide range of applications with a choice of performance and aesthetic options, allowing even the most exacting requirements to be satisfied. The system has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the Schüco range of façade, window and sliding door systems.
