Senior increases manufacturing and distribution capacity in the UK

Senior Architectural Systems has plenty in store for its trade customers after making some big improvements across its UK manufacturing and distribution centres. The aluminium fenestration systems manufacturer has added valuable space to its factories in both South Yorkshire and Wales to ensure that it can continue to satisfy the growing demand for its aluminium doors, windows and curtain walling systems.

As part of the company’s continuous improvement of its in-house warehouse and manufacturing facilities, Senior has extended its existing storage space in Newport and installed additional racking at its Denaby HQ.  By increasing capacity to hold even more products in stock, Senior is well placed to offer its trade customer base reliable deliveries and short lead times.  With an additional distribution centre in Scotland, Senior’s nationwide service has been further supported with the recent modernisation of its delivery fleet. Senior has also invested heavily in its product offering, developing new systems so that customers working in both the commercial and residential markets can benefit from Senior’s reliable ‘one stop shop’ service. New additions to the range include the new PURe® Commercial Door system, with the Ali FOLD aluminium door and Ali VU aluminium window systems also continuing to generate new business with customers working on domestic contacts. The popularity of Senior’s established products such as the low U-value PURe® aluminium windows systems and slim profile SF52 curtain walling system has also ensured that the company remains the first choice for many working in the commercial sector, leading to both new and repeat business with trade installers, main contractors and architects alike.

Sales Director James Keeling-Heane said: “Our motto has always been to give our customers what they want, when they want it, and it’s never been more important to follow through on this pledge and provide a service that our customers can rely on. The political climate and current market conditions may be unsettled but for our part, we are keeping focused on what we do best and that is developing high quality aluminium fenestration systems that are a pleasure to work with.  We understand the pressures that our trade customers face to get jobs completed on time and to a high standard and by investing in our in-house facilities, we can support them every step of the way.”
