Sherborne flourishing with deeply rooted foundations for over 30 Years

Sherborne Windows is celebrating its 30th anniversary, marking four decades of dedication to family values and quality service. Founded by Chris Long, Sherborne has been a trusted provider of high-quality windows and doors, helping families in Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, and South-West London.

When Chris established Sherborne Windows, he committed to fairness and care in every interaction, whether with clients, staff, or suppliers. These principles remain at the heart of the company today. As a family-run business, Sherborne prioritises the values of integrity, support, and community and is proud to have been a nominated Industry Finalist and Winner for four consecutive years in the GGP Installer awards and nominations in the G Awards.

Reflecting on the journey, Chris shared, “I have been incredibly fortunate to have such a great team of people working with and supporting me, along with my wife Claire and my brothers Andy and Tim.” This close-knit team has been integral to the company’s success and growth over the years.

Sherborne has expanded to four showrooms in Hartley Wintney, Sunningdale, Farnborough, and Windlesham. Each showroom features a friendly and knowledgeable team ready to assist clients in selecting the perfect windows and doors for their homes. The team’s expertise ensures that customers can navigate choices confidently, including those in conservation areas with specific planning requirements.

Chris said: “Our Sherborne team is like an extended family. We have four families working here, with over 30 years of service between them. Our families include two brothers, Mark and Terry Hardy; father and son, Jeremy and Will Hedger; father and three sons, Mark, Ben, Jordan, and Jack Marshall; and my own family—my wife Claire, our daughter Molly, and my two brothers Andy and Tim.”

Many staff members have dedicated over 25 years to Sherborne, advancing to leadership roles within the company. Their enduring commitment and loyalty are greatly valued and have been instrumental in shaping Sherborne into the strong multi-million pound company it is today.

Four decades on, Sherborne continues to thrive, proving that a foundation of family values and quality service is key to enduring success.

Chris believes that these principles have helped the company navigate recent challenges and will continue to guide Sherborne into the future. As they celebrate this significant milestone, the Sherborne team looks forward to many more years of serving their community with dedication and care.
