Successfully building a contemporary extension using a SupaLite Tiled Roof

SupaLite are leaders in the UK conservatory and fenestration industry. Their experts provide installers with a lightweight, easy-to-install and desirable solid roof which fits onto the existing conservatory window frame, eliminating the dramatic changes in temperature seen in traditional conservatories.

Registered SupaLite installers, Tyneside Home Improvements, are specialists in conservatory roof replacements, bespoke orangeries, and new-build conservatories. Based in the heart of the North East, they’ve grown to become one of the most recognised home improvement brands in Tyneside and the surrounding areas. Working closely with SupaLite, they successfully completed a stunning extension for a delighted customer in Rowland Gill.

The new-build replaced an existing conservatory, significantly increasing the living space in the home. The customer was keen to have the continuous fluted brick detail included in the project, preserving the originality of the build from 1890.

Finished with a combination of a SupaLite Tiled Roof System and SkyVista Glass Panels, it allowed the homeowner to make the most of the natural light.

The result is simply stunning, combining the finery of the period property with an orangery of contemporary, new design.

The homeowner states; ‘’You can’t fault the end result. We love our new orangery; the stonework is stunning and matched our house perfectly.’’

Tyneside Home Improvements state; ‘’In the spirit of bringing old and new together, we have designed and built a contemporary SupaLite extension to the customer’s specification, preserving the continuous fluted brick detail in the extension, to match the property built in 1890.’’

How SupaLite Helped Create a Bespoke Install – SupaLite’s experts received a detailed drawing from Tyneside Home Improvements, which they replicated in their software.

The team then supplied Tyneside with the gable frame sizes which had an upstand on so they could continue the brickwork past the roof. The roof was then processed and sent into production. In the manufacturing stage, the roof is cut to the sizes requested and in kit form ready to be delivered within 7 days.
