Timberlook launches free Planitherm One upgrade for installers

Timberlook, the heritage wood-effect uPVC brand from leading fabricator Affordable Windows Group, has launched a limited-time promotion offering installers a free upgrade to Planitherm One thermal glazing. The offer, which lasts until 28th March 2026, allows installers to request an upgrade to Planitherm One glazing with their order at no extra cost.

The high-performance Planitherm One glazing delivers a lowered U-Value of 1.2W/m²K, allowing installers to offer their customers greater value whilst maintaining competitive pricing.

Amelia Gaughan, Head of Marketing for Affordable Windows Group, commented: “We recognise the challenges facing installers in the current market. The winter can be a quiet time for our installers, but we hope this offer will support our trade partners as we head into the slower months. This free Planitherm One upgrade addresses homeowners’ increasing focus on energy efficiency, allowing our installers to offer excellent thermal performance at no extra cost.”

The offer applies to Timberlook’s complete range of wood-effect uPVC windows, all of which are designed to replicate traditional timber aesthetics using Timberweld joins, woodgrain finishes and a heritage-inspired flush sash design.

Gaughan added: “By offering this free thermal upgrade with our popular heritage wood-effect range, our trade partners can differentiate themselves from competitors during a particularly demanding period for the industry.”

The free Planitherm One upgrade comes as part of AWG’s wider package of support for installers, as Gaughan concluded: “At AWG, we’ve always prioritised supporting our installer network, especially when times are tough. Beyond this free improved energy efficiency offer, we continue to supply free lead generation, marketing materials, sample windows, and a Timberlook Installer Pack with branded apparel, all designed to help installers inspire confidence in their customers.”
