Trade fabricator invests around £1m in new machinery and improvements

Since their inception in 1998, Telford based Trade and Commercial Fabricator FrameXpress has shown the window industry exactly why they are “Ahead of the Game.” Recent investment totalling around £1m in new machinery and improvements to their 35,000 sq. ft factory, they are now producing nationwide, over 1000 windows every week with 60 members of staff and using Profile 22 PVC-u profiles.

FrameXpress Limited’s extensive portfolio includes supplying PVC-u Windows, Doors and Conservatories, supplying “A” rated windows as standard, Composite Doors and Aluminium products complete their complex range of products.

Directors Mark Westbrook and Stuart Green have over 55 years combined experience in the window industry and they have used that experience to make FrameXpress the success it is today.

This success has been emphasised with the major investment in their machinery package supplied and installed by Winmac UK Limited. This package included a new SCHIRMER BAZ-1000-G6-VU2-VO “Tandem” Cutting and Machining Centre, which is widely known as the fastest and most accurate machine of its type in the market today, they also invested in two new ROTOX SMK 505 range of In-Line Five and Four Head Welders, SEK701 Butt Welder and an LA 396PC Electronic Measuring system for Bead Measuring.

This has complimented the 3 other ROTOX CNC Corner Cleaners, Crucifix Welder and Quad Welder, all supplied over the years by Winmac UK Limited.

Mark Westbrook says: “Since having these machines in place, I wish that we made the investment years ago with Winmac UK. Their overall support, technical ability and the high quality of the machinery makes this an enjoyable Partnership.”

Sales Director of Winmac UK, Kevin Noray, says: “it has been a pleasure to work with all of the team at FrameXpress and to be part of their success. I am sure that there will be more improvements over the coming years as they strive to remain – “ahead of the game.” “
