Tradelink celebrates 28 years of trading by winning business award

Tradelink has recently celebrated its 28 years in business, and 2020 has begun in triumphant style. As one of the leading fabricators of quality windows and doors in the UK, Tradelink picked up the coveted Top 100 companies in Cambridgeshire recognition award in January. The Cambridgeshire Ltd award recognises the top 100 companies in the county based on a combination of sales and the strength of balance sheet for 2019, based on research by renowned consultants, Grant Thornton.

The list is compiled from the most recent publicly available accounts of companies within the region and provides a useful yardstick against which the county can assess its economic performance. Businesses in the Top 100 range from automotive, technology and of course manufacturing and it is the 8th year that Grant Thornton have carried out the study. Tradelink join the likes of AstraZeneca, Baker Perkins, Xaar & Lawrence David, as winners of the award. Pictured collecting the award from Stuart Davies of Grant Thornton, Managing Director of Tradelink Jim Moody remarked: “As founder of Tradelink I’m very proud of our business. In a year when we have seen many others in the manufacturing industry struggle, we have achieved Top 100 Companies recognition for the first time. The recognition has been accomplished by the hard work and dedication from all our staff and shows the progress we are continuing to make.”

A spokesperson for Grant Thornton commented: “The companies comprising Cambridgeshire Limited have yet again produced a strong set of financial results.”

Following the collection of the award, Tradelink’s fine start to 2020 continued as they enjoyed a record-breaking day in January. Friday 24th saw a record order intake day for PVC-U sales in their 28 years history.
