Window Ware begins safe phased return to work

Window Ware has begun a safe phased reopening of its’ operations following a temporary closure in response to COVID-19.  The nationwide distributor will begin the first step of reinstating its’ next day customer promise which will be back in action from Monday 18th May, meaning customers can once again place orders by 3:30pm Monday to Friday for next working day delivery.  This is an increase to the weekly despatches that have been in place since 20th April.  With more of its’ staff members coming back to work to support this first step, this will come as welcome news as parts of the fenestration industry also begin their return to work.

Strict social distancing measures and hygiene guidelines have now been implemented at Window Ware’s HQ in Bedford to protect those employees who’ll be on site.  Those who can work from home will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Window Ware’s Managing Director Sam Nuckey said: “We have spent the last few weeks putting a robust plan in place to ensure the safety of our employees and customers.  We’ve been actively talking to our customers throughout this period to ensure we’re meeting their demand, and with many fabricators now returning to work, it’s vital we continue to keep doing that; and we’ll scale up even further as volumes increase”.

“We’d like to thank our staff and our supply partners for their continued understanding, and we’d like to tell our customers how much we appreciate such loyal support during this unprecedented time. We are hopeful we can all work together to come through the Coronavirus and importantly stay safe.”
