Winkhaus UK’s Head of Marketing is gearing up for an exciting FIT showcase

Andrew Wilkins, the Head of Marketing for Winkhaus UK, is gearing up for an exciting showcase at the FIT Show 2025. Winkhaus, a leading provider of door locking and window systems in Europe, views the FIT Show as a pivotal platform for launching new products. Reflecting on the success of their 2023 exhibition, where they introduced several innovative locking systems, Wilkins emphasises the importance of the event in connecting with customers and unveiling their latest advancements.

As the 2025 show approaches, Winkhaus is set to introduce three groups of solutions, including new added value products, such as aluminium hardware systems and security hardware solutions that align with the evolving PAS24 and Approved Document Q security regulations. Additionally, the company plans to enhance its customer services, expanding their unique digital portal that houses technical product catalogue, marketing downloads, and also expanding its product development and product testing capability in line with the new legislation.

Wilkins highlights the broad audience they hope to attract at the FIT Show. With a significant presence in the UK, Winkhaus works closely with regulators and industry bodies to support the enhancement of security and life safety legislation. This makes them a key player in addressing regulatory changes and providing compliant solutions for door and window fabricators, and their installer networks. Their new offerings focus on balancing the needs of future homes, enhanced security and solving specifiers design challenges, such as managing heavy thermal windows whilst ensuring ease-of-use, safety and ventilation.

The FIT Show 2025 promises to be a platform for Winkhaus to engage with customers beyond the typical sales environment. Wilkins looks forward to spending quality time with clients, discussing new services and tools that support their sales processes, such as digital marketing content. The event offers a unique opportunity to gather feedback and understand customer needs, which drives the company’s innovation cycle.

Reflecting on the success of the 2023 FIT Show, Wilkins recalls the busy three-day event that flew by, filled with meaningful interactions and valuable insights. The company’s big launch that year, a product developed based on customer feedback, addressed issues like thermal expansion. This approach underscores Winkhaus’s commitment to customer-centric innovation, using events like the FIT Show as catalysts for future developments.

As the FIT Show 2025 draws near, Wilkins and the Winkhaus team are eager to showcase their latest solutions and engage with a diverse audience. The event represents not just a chance to display new products, but also an opportunity to strengthen relationships with customers and gather insights that will shape the next wave of innovations. With a focus on customer experience and operational excellence, Winkhaus is poised to make a significant impact at the upcoming show.
