Emmegi sells first entry level machines at FIT

PR109 Emmegi had a big bold stand at the FIT showMachinery specialist Emmegi (UK) launched its new Phantomatic M3 entry level machining centre at FIT and took a number of orders for the machine during the show itself.

Managing Director Ian Latimer said that several buyers had come to FIT specifically to see the prototype model which was on display and were delighted to be able to place orders for the first few machines which will come off the production line in September.

Ian said:  “The Phantomatic M3 gives users the chance to own an Emmegi machining centre, which comes with all of our quality guarantees, inherent performance benefits and Emmegi brand values, at a lower cost than has been possible previously.

“We had expected a good response but to actually have customers sign up at the show exceeded even our best expectations.”

Emmegi had relocated from a stand in Hall 1A at FIT in 2013 to a prime position near the entrance to Hall 1 and the move certainly paid dividends for them.

Ian added:  “We were much busier than last year and the results, both in terms of the number of visitors we met and the number of orders placed, have already prompted us to book the same stand for 2016.

“We saw a really encouraging mix of new and existing customers from across both the aluminium and PVC-U sectors and they were looking at a broad mix of machines including saws, machining centres and crimpers.

“Our team of sales engineers spent lots of time talking to visitors, giving them advice about the right solutions for their businesses and even surprising some of them with a few facts and figures about the global reach of the Emmegi group.”
