Ian Ward, Business Development Manager of Veka Recycling
Adding yet another new face to its expanding team, Veka Recycling has appointed its third Business Development Manager, Ian Ward.
With a background in UPVC recycling, Ian’s primary role will be to develop and grow Veka Recycling’s source material business via its new Midlands Recycling Centre in Stourbridge, as well as help bolster the sales team in the UK.
In his five years working within the UPVC recycling sector prior to joining Veka Recycling Ian developed and grew newly opened sites. Working in Scotland, West Yorkshire and both the North West and North East, his job was to generate local business for recycling UPVC windows and profile from a mixture of local window manufacturers and waste recycling companies.
“I wanted to work for Veka Recycling as being the largest UPVC recycler they were producing high quality recycled products,” Ian said. “I wanted to be part of a strong team that would take Veka to the next phase of the company’s development.”
