Lorna Rose pic cropEpwin Group Building Products Division has announced the recent appointment of Lorna Rose as National Sales Director (Trade). The trade arm of the Building Products Division includes CET Glass Processors, DB Glass, Indigo Products, Safedoors and Sierra Windows.

Lorna joins from Grouphomesafe, where she held a senior sales management position, and brings with her significant and extensive industry experience, having spent over 13 years within the fenestration sector. This has included operations and general management, sales management and commercial construction contracting. Specific operational responsibilities included manufacturing management (PVC-U and aluminium frame fabrication and IGU production) and managing onsite installation of large construction projects, before moving into sales management in recent years

Given the impressive depth of relevant experience that she brings to the role, Lorna believes that she understands perfectly the needs and requirements of customers and their own priorities, and that this will be greatly beneficial in her new role. The opportunity to join the Group at an exciting time in its history, following last year’s flotation on the London Stock Exchange AIM market and the investments made within the business to help improve the offering and service to customers, were important factors in Lorna’s decision to move.

Lorna has already met a number of customers and says, “I’m extremely encouraged by the customer feedback so far and am confident that we are able to offer some of the best quality products available on the market today, and provide an outstanding service to our customers. The support we are able to offer and the ongoing investments being made, both in equipment and creating the right organisational structure, give me great confidence driving forward our new commercial trade team to provide the right solutions for our trade customers.”
