A national supplier of innovative roof glazing solutions has introduced a new range of products to their portfolio, in response to high demand for alternatives to the classic, bolt-on conservatories.

The decline of the conservatory market over the last few years has been counteracted by the industry with new, innovative solutions that led to renewed consumer desire. According to the latest Window Industry Report from leading supplier of market intelligence, Insight Data, new product development has revived opportunities for the conservatory installers, thanks to an evolution towards “more sophisticated, orangery-style rooms, and integrated, bespoke glazed solutions.”

To help customers make the most of the latest market trends, LB Roof Windows is now supplying the Atlas range of Roof Lanterns and Skyroom – the contemporary looking solution that is combining the best of two worlds, bridging the gap between conservatory and orangery.

LB Roof Windows sales director, Adrian Cooper, said: “The industry has responded in the best possible way to the slowdown in the conservatory market: with innovation. We pride ourselves on offering one of the widest ranges of natural light solutions for the roofing market, such as skylights, roof windows and roof domes, and we’ve now introduced the Atlas Skyroom and Roof Lantern to our range of products to help customers diversify their offer and capitalise on the changing demand.”

Skyroom is the perfect solution for applications where the aspiration for an orangery might not be met by a budget to match. Skyroom delivers the high-end look of an orangery, without the price tag: the slim roof frame and 40mm internal ridge and rafter sections allow for larger glass areas, maximising the natural light and creating the sensation of space, while the unique raised beam delivers an authentic orangery look. The roof system is also perfect for the replacement market, thanks to its ability to transform a conservatory into a mock orangery, dramatically improving efficiency and usability of the space.

The Atlas Roof Lantern is a versatile solution for any project, from a traditional conservatory to a stylish orangery, or a modern flat roof extension. The aluminium Roof Lantern boasts attractive, slim sightlines, but is strong enough to support the increased weight of 44mm triple glazing, which helps it achieve an overall U-value of as low as 0,7 W/m²k.

Adrian added: “With the new additions to our range, we’re helping our customers differentiate themselves and offer a new and improved product that appeals to the end-consumer. What’s more, the Atlas range comes with strong technical support, and our team are always on hand to help with advice so that our clients can deliver smooth installations quick and easy, and move on to the next job in no time.”
