A&B Glass Group launches UK-wide Certified Installer Network

The first UK-wide Certified Installer Network (CIN) scheme has been launched in the UK with over 60 retail installers signing up at the recent launch conference.  The CIN, brainchild of Dave Barrett, managing director of Suffolk based A&B glass Group, which incorporates John Fredericks Plastics Limited of Huddersfield, is a UK-wide network of installers who have agreed to a charter of excellence, providing consumers with peace of mind and reassurance that the choice they have made is based on proven quality in products and installation, backed by a guarantee.

Dave explains his eureka moment “I was thinking of what we could do to give our retail installer network a real edge in the market. We have always been innovative and supremely quality conscious when it comes to product, but we needed something that could wrap our product offer and expertise into a unique proposition giving the end customer reassurance and a real guarantee of quality. Franchises, dealerships and marketing clubs have all been done before, the CIN most certainly isn’t any of those things, our unique charter, which all CIN members have to sign up to is genuine, puts the consumer at the centre of our proposition and by doing so, we will be providing our network with a huge differentiator.”

The launch conference was supported by a number of industry leading partners, Joe Martoccia, commercial director at Ultraframe, the conservatory roof system of choice for the CIN commented:  “what Dave and the team at A&B and John Fredericks have put together in the CIN is something that will give signed-up members a real competitive advantage in the market.  At a time when everyone is looking for a differentiator to win an order from a competitor, I believe that the added reassurance of a certified installer who has signed up to a meaningful charter of excellence, will tip the balance and ultimately win the order for the CIN member.”

CIN supply partners include Eurocell, Ultraframe, Sheerframe, Grouphomesafe, UK Fasteners, Geocel, Indigo Ross, Window Sales Lab, IWG (guarantee provider) and Arbicon (specialist construction dispute resolution).

Dave Barrett concludes:  “In terms of supply partners, we have assembled what we believe to be the crème de la crème of the industry, not only in the principle product providers, but in the great depth of support we will provide CIN members from insurance, to industry leading sales and product training right up to the provision of a dispute resolution service together with our unique range of brand products.  All this adds up to a safe, supported, well delivered end to end consumer journey, where every conceivable touch point is handled with care, infinite choice and reassurance but importantly ultimate professionalism.”
