Located in Hampshire, Titan Aluminium was founded by John Jones in 2018 to break the mould in flat rooflight design. If the name John Jones is sounding familiar to you, that is because he is not only well known within the double-glazing industry but is also an expert in the realm of glazed roofs.

Frustrated with not being able to explore his ideas and concepts, John took the bull by the horns and decided to take action. Fast forward to 2021 and production of the Titan ‘EDGE’ flat rooflight has reached an all-time high as Titan Aluminium has just moved into a brand-new factory – 3 times the size of their original facility.

The spacious new factory has afforded Titan to not only increase its capacity but also improve efficiency with a dedicated quoting team providing installers with quotes in just a few hours.

Large stock holding – In the beginning, only bespoke sizes were made but a modest stock range was quickly added to improve customers delivery times. The upgraded facility allows Titan to have a large stock holding made advance and ready to go. This exciting new development and rapid growth has expanded from its original three stock sizes to a mighty seven stock sizes, enabling installers to offer homeowner more choice.

Its clever design allows water to simply glide off its surface and not be hindered by perimeter sealants or protruding frames. It stands only 63mm above the roof upstand and blends seamlessly into any property.

Whilst allowing maximum light to flood in, the Titan ‘EDGE’ effortlessly allows to keep the unwanted heat out and the ambient room temperature constant giving you the benefit on year-round comfort and performance.

The Titan ‘EDGE’ has a very careful selection of high-performance glazing components. It benefits from both low maintenance solar reflective glass outside and low emission laminated glass inside, structurally bonded into the unique super-slim edge thermally broken aluminium frame providing all-year-round comfort with a typical U-Value of 1.3 w/m2k (overall roof).

A very welcomed standard feature is laminated security glass to the inner panel. The shatterproof laminated glass is included as standard and provides homeowners with safety, security, noise reduction, and 98% reduction in UV rays which prevents sun bleaching. This addition gives you peace of mind as it’s very difficult to penetrate from the outside as well as the inner panel is shatterproof laminated glass, providing optimum safety.
