Camden continues to expand trade centre network throughout the UK

As part of its ongoing growth strategy, May saw Camden Group open two new Camden Trade Centres in Birmingham and Stevenage. The new centres bring the number of Camden Trade Centres to nine. Working alongside the existing centres in Liverpool, Macclesfield, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield and Ispwich, the new centres will directly supply local installers and builders with the market-leading Inliten range of PVC-U windows and doors, composite doors, vertical sliders and aluminium bi-folds, as well as an enhanced range of on-the-group support and services. “We have very ambitious growth plans,” says Andrew McAteer, Group Marketing Manager at Camden, “and the expansion of our trade centre network is central to that growth strategy. The opening of Birmingham and Stevenage complement the existing network well in terms of geographic spread, and the plan is to open another five Camden Trade Centres this year.

“The development of the network, however, won’t just be about Camden-owned centres. Developing partners who will operate as an independent trade centre in a given territory is an equally important part of that plan, and discussions are ongoing with a number of potential partners who have the same drive and ambition to grow as we do. With the Inliten range, we are able to offer a world-class portfolio of products. For our partners, we are also able to offer a superb package of support to provide them with the tools they need to grow their business. And like our products, which are tailor-made to a customer’s specific requirements, the support package for a partner will be built around their business needs, whether that’s financial and operational support; consumer retail or trade to trade marketing, sales and business development support; help with developing better integrated IT infrastructure and systems; or business consultancy and management support services. The thinking is pretty simple, if we help them grow, we grow too.”
