Central Window Systems welcomes local Conservative MP Nicola Richards

Full solution fabricator Central Window Systems was recently paid a visit by Conservative MP for West Bromwich East, Nicola Richards, kickstarting a renewed commitment to creating employment and growing the local economy. As an MP, Nicola is working on a project to create and sustain employment opportunities as we build back better following the pandemic, and as a significant employer in the West Bromwich area, Central caught her attention. CEO Gary Morton comments: “During Nicola’s visit, we discussed how we could help her create employment and boost the local economy, and moving forward, we will be working with her and her team to further develop our apprenticeship programme.”

The leading PVC-U and aluminium fabricator will soon be looking into recruiting a number of apprentices and upskilling young workers, with the long-term goal of growing and developing a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce to add to its already talented team.

Nicola comments: “It was a pleasure meeting with the team at Central Window Systems. They are a well established local business and it was very interesting to hear about all the opportunities and challenges they’ve faced, and to discuss how we can work together in creating a better future for our local area.”

Gary continues: “We were really pleased to have been paid a visit by Nicola. It was very worthwhile in terms of understanding the issues facing young workers today, and learning about the work she is doing to help the community rebuild. As a local business, we are committed to tackling the industry’s skills shortage as well as helping in the regeneration of our economy and our community by creating opportunities for skilled workers, and we look forward to working closely with Nicola in doing so.”
