Dedicated door sash from Residence opens up residential door options

The Residence Collection is not just a series of unique, stylish and high performance windows with true consumer appeal, but there is also a wide range of residential door options now available across the range, thanks to a dedicated door sash. For each of the R2, R7 and R9 systems, there are single open-in/open-out possibilities, along with balcony and french door options, all with the benefit of three different glazing bead shapes. These include decorative, staff and square and there are also double- and triple-glazing options. Mike Hart, Technical Manager of The Residence Collection commented: “The Residence Collection has benefited from considerable development over the last 18 months, particularly with respect to the residential door options that one would expect from a modern-day systems house. Now we can offer doors that look as beautiful as their window counterparts, thanks to the dedicated door sash.”

In addition to the typical glazed entrance door options for The Residence Collection, there is also a composite door variant in the form of Solidor R9, partnering with the sister company within Masonite. Here there is a clear benefit of harnessing one of the most tried, tested and trusted door slabs in a super-premium proposition. Sarah Hitchings, Sales and Marketing director of The Residence Collection concluded: “Whatever the door requirement for The Residence Collection, we have a perfect solution and so our customers are now able to enjoy additional sales opportunities. After all, who wouldn’t want a matching door frame to their beautiful Residence Collection windows!’
