“He’s thoroughly enjoyed what has been a very successful journey, taking Phoenix from its inception to the 700-composite doors a week and rapidly-growing company that it is today.”
Describing Neil as one of the ‘real Old School true Gents’, Tony Morris, Operations Manager at Crystal Windows and Doors, Romford, said: “Having successfully traded with Phoenix for more than 17 years, we have to say that much of this should be attributed to the outstanding service, commitment and integrity demonstrated by Neil, who has always worked with us and managed to manage our expectations to the highest degree. “We are sure that his experience and management skills will have already been instilled in those he leaves behind at Phoenix and we look forward to continuing working with them and sharing the same level of service and trading relationship, which we have no doubt will continue. We wish Neil all the success for the future and knowing him like we do will always be on hand to help those who need him.” Neil attributed his decision to the fact that the ‘time is right’ and said he’s looking forward to some ‘me time’ However, he says: “I shall do something and it may have nothing to do with this industry at all; maybe something completely new.” Haydon added: “He’s not mentioned any immediate plans – I think he’s going to enjoy a bit of a rest in the sunshine!”
