“Home of Championship side Birmingham City Football Club, St Andrews will provide a fantastic setting for the day,” explains Adrian Barraclough, Quickslide’s Chairman and GM Fundraising team member. “Unlike some corporate days, the GM Football Fives gives companies an excellent opportunity to put a team together with people from any area of the business. From fitter to Chief Executive, teams will be playing for their company in a national competition that’s all about the UK’s national sport. Company’s customers are also welcome to join a team.
“Each team will consist of 8 players and have a guaranteed 3 matches under the watchful eye of fully qualified referees for just £800 per team. The 8 player registration includes entry to the Awards Party Evening hosted at St Andrews, and of course additional tickets for the fun once the final whistle has gone can also be purchased for £25 per adult, £10 per child aged 10 to 16 with children under 10 welcome for no charge.
“Aside from the football competition – including awards and trophies for the winners and runners up, as well as ‘Player of the Tournament’, ‘Beat The Goalie’ and ‘Golden Boot’ to name just a few – there will be plenty more besides to entertain supporters including an evening buffet, disco, fundraising activities and cash bar till 11pm.
“At GM Fundraising, it is important that we host events that people will enjoy – as aside from the fundraising aspect, it really is all about having fun,” continues Adrian. “We believe the GM Football Fives will become a date not to be missed in people’s diaries every year, as everything is set for it to be a truly fantastic day.
