As market leaders, Granada Glazing understands the importance of their relationship with trade partners, to show appreciation for this they have recognised loyal and experienced customers. Tony Randall, Managing Director of Heritage Glass Group and a founder member of FENSA, has been recognised as a long-serving-customer, he notes: “Supplying Granada’s Secondary Glazing gives us total confidence that we can cure and eliminate our customers acoustic and thermal issues. We have seen a vast increase in the demand for secondary glazing where our customers are requesting Granada’s product range. With fast lead times, high quality and optimum performance we look forward to strengthening our relationship with Granada Glazing and obtaining a 20 Year Award.”

Granada’s secondary glazing can decrease noise levels by up to 80% (54 decibels) and increase thermal insulation by up to 65% with the addition of Low-E glass. To achieve this level of performance, secondary glazing needs to be precision engineered and installed correctly. Granada’s range of secondary glazing is manufactured on state-of-the-art CNC machinery, this ensures tightly sealed frames and offers optimum thermal and acoustic performance. Taking this one step further Granada Glazing stand out from the crowd by providing full technical and installation training to all trade partners, this allows their customers to achieve the best possible acoustic and thermal performance.

Over the last few years, Granada Glazing has seen an unprecedented increase in the demand for secondary glazing where Granada’s trade installer network has significantly increased. John Taylor, Granada Glazing’s Account Manager comments: “As demand for our acoustic products has increased, so has our trade dealer network, it is important for us to recognise our strong relationships with our loyal customers and ensure they have the tools needed to promote, sell and install our products effectively. Honouring our customers with a tenth-anniversary award is our way of saying thank you and highlighting our customers level of experience.”

Granada’s range of bespoke secondary glazing can be installed within all property types, including Grade I and Grade II listed properties. This allows homeowners to decrease noise levels but also lock in the heat during cold winter months. Trade installers who add secondary glazing to their product range can operate in new markets as it allows them to treat listed buildings which prohibit the installation of new primary windows. As all frames are made to measure, Granada Glazing can ensure slim sight lines ensuring that the secondary glazing matches the transoms and mullions of the primary window. These slim sight lines prevent the visibility of the secondary glazing system form the exterior of the property allowing period properties to retain their original character and charm. With a range of horizontal and vertical sliders, hinged casements and lift-outs, Granada Glazing can manufacture secondary glazing to match the function of all window styles.

Granada Glazing is the UK’s largest manufacturer of bespoke aluminium secondary glazing, all products are designed, manufactured and quality checked within their 50,000 ft2 manufacturing facility.
