Another week and and an ever changing business environment – which is holding up considerably well all things considered. Within our own industry, orders are still being taken, installations are still taking place and factories are still manufacturing windows, doors and roofs. Installers and retailers are completing installations this week and next. Homeowners are placing orders, and importantly, are generally not cancelling orders – instead, at worse, they are delaying for a few months. Interesting, there are reports from the retail world, that customers are resigned to not having a foreign holiday for the foreseeable future, and this could be diverted to home improvements once this situation has eased. Business are being urged to stay visible during these times and take full advantage of the funds being made available by Government.
